There’s almost nothing worse than the usual stamp job that has a repetitive sample. Repetition when stamping with ashlar slate or flagstone mats is a dead giveaway that this isn’t the real deal. Stay clear of repeating styles by meticulously inserting the mats at random—never repeat the same sequence (i.e. red, yellow, blue, red, yellow blue)
